I started 1:1 sessions with Diane in January 2022. This was a big step out of my comfort zone but
after years of avoiding my health and fitness issues I knew I needed to do something. I was not
looking for a quick fix, I knew that would not be the answer. I wanted to feel better within myself
and knew I would need guidance to do it properly. I felt I needed someone to help me take control
and hold me accountable for my own actions.
After a very honest initial assessment I realised I had years of bad food habits and lack of exercise to
change. Diane instantly made me feel relaxed and she had the ability to make me open up and
realise that I was only kidding myself. Her motivation and passion for all things healthy shines
through and she can leave you with a feeling of if you put in the work, anything is possible.
During each session, I have felt supported and encouraged to push myself harder. This has shown in
my results, which I am proud of, although I know I have more work to do. Being new to workouts, I
didn’t really know what to expect and felt nervous at the thought of failing. Diane makes the
process easy to follow, despite the exercises being a challenge! She will explain each step clearly and
work alongside if needed. I have learnt about the importance of doing regular workouts to increase
my fitness level. Diane set up the app to allow me to do home workouts and track my progress at
each stage.
Alongside the fitness, Diane has gone over various healthy eating information. She has a wealth of
knowledge on nutrition and is able to share it in a manner that does not patronise or embarrass. My
eating habits have improved. This has probably been the biggest eye opener for me and I am now
far more aware of the importance of eating healthy and the short and long term effects it can have
on your body. I am now more clearer on calorie intake and what my limits need to be if I want to
lose weight and be healthier.
Diane has been supportive and very encouraging since the start. She will check-in regularly and you
can tell that it is more than a just a job for her. She has been professional in every aspect and at no
point have I felt judged or ridiculed throughout the sessions. Having pushed myself from the start to
try hard, I feel having Diane on side has played a major factor in me sticking to the plan and now find
myself looking forward to each session, something I never thought I would say about exercising!

Empathy and compassion are strong values of mine, which may sound soft or airy fairy, but I am here to encourage you to take responsibility for your decisions around your diet and fitness.
Teaching you to take ownership of the choices you make. Compassionate coaching includes calling you out on your excuses, but teaching you that beating yourself up is wasted energy.

How do I stay healthy while bringing up 4 kids and running a business?
Fortunately for me... I love it.
I love training. I love walking. I love the feeling I get from exercise. Doing something you enjoy is easy.
It is important to explore different types of exercise to find something you enjoy. That makes it far easier to continue doing it.
I LOVE food. I have a sweet tooth. But I understand energy balance so I manage my portions and eat according to my body's energy needs.
I can teach you to do all of this inside my coaching group where I provide opportunities to ask questions regularly and post Webinars, videos and written education and support weekly.
